Nestled between East and West Hills of Hastings is Sandalwood Lodge, a spacious and detached Victorian house which has recently undergone extensive refurbishment. Overlooking Hastings Old Town, it is a perfect place to stay for those who would prefer to be closer to the historic town of Hastings.

Situated half a mile from Hastings Old Town, it is walking distance to the beach, and many restaurants in the town centre. The Country Park is just a short walk away.

With its own gated parking facility for up to four cars, Sandalwood Lodge has landscaped gardens and terraces offering open views to the sea.

This stunning Victorian Villa offers versatile accommodation  arranged over three floors comprising a ground floor spacious entrance hall providing access onto a well-lit 32 sq m open plan dining/kitchen which is ideal for entertaining being double aspect with French doors leading to the landscaped garden .

The villa has many period features including high ceilings and large sash windows

The garden is a delightful feature and is South facing  arranged over terraces with several seating areas, all perfect to take in those lovely views whilst you sun bathe and relax .

The entrance hall is light and spacious and provides access to all areas of the property and the lovely staircase provides access to upper accommodation.

The house has three floors, five bedrooms, all with en-suite bath or shower rooms.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor, one with a king size bed, the other has a double four poster bed.

The first floor has three bed rooms, one has a king size bed and the other two have standard double beds.
The master bed room has a dressing room attached to it. This can be used as a single room as it has a sofa bed and its own shower room .  

All of the bedrooms have their own bathroom or shower room.  Two of the bath rooms have  deep soaking Japanese baths.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes an American fridge freezer, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, on tap boiling water and bean to cup coffee machine.

The Utility room on the lower ground floor has a combined washing machine/tumble dryer. An iron and ironing board.

The house can accommodate up to 11 guests.

A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request.

All cooking utensils are provided in the well equipped kitchen.

Towels are provided in all bedrooms.

There is a green clay barbecue on the terrace.....please bring your own charcoal.

The rate quoted include the following areas :

Dining room, open plan kitchen ,  lounge.

One shower/cloak room on the ground floor.

Utility room in the lower ground floor.

Front garden and back garden.

 The house is rented to one group of guests at any one time. 

Well behave pets are welcome. There is a charge of £20 per pet. Maximum of  three pets.  


10% Discount for staying 5 or more nights 

20% Discount for staying over 27 nights.

Cancellation Policy

100% refund for cancellations made 30 days or more before check-in date.

50% refund for cancellations made less than 30 days and more than 14 days before check-in date.

No refund for cancellation made less than 14 days before check-in date.

Late arrival or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
